Welcome to Heathrow School

Dear Parent
It is possible that you are in the process of seeking the right school for your son or daughter.
This is not an easy task.
Detailed on this site you will find a great deal of information to help you decide whether or not our school is what you are looking for. We are a school proud of traditional values. Pride in the school is encouraged through a commitment to equal opportunities for all children, a strong community spirit and a true sense of belonging.
This is supported through the corporate image created by the wearing of school uniform.
We see as our mission the provision of a warm, caring and inclusive environment in which all pupils are able to realise their full potential and aspire to the high academic and social expectations that we have for them.
Through careful guidance and the development of self discipline our children are encouraged to do well academically because we live in a competitive world, to take part in sporting events with a true sporting spirit and to appreciate Art and Music because it will enrich their lives. At eleven years of age, when a child leaves us to go in to secondary education, success can be measured by just how well he or she is equipped to grow into eventual adulthood as a thoughtful, caring and responsible member of society.
To achieve these aims, it is essential to offer teaching of the highest quality supported by a well-resourced curriculum.
I believe we do this. I also believe that no prospectus can compare with a visit for gaining a true insight into what a school has to offer. A phone call will ensure an invitation to visit the school. It will provide an opportunity to see our children in their classrooms, judge the quality of work being produced and ask any questions that you may have.
You will be most welcome and I look forward to meeting you.
